Tableware for Otra
A series of 20 tableware objects for Otra, Bombay.

A brainchild of Alex and Mallyeka of the Americano fame, Otra in Mumbai, India opened its doors in May of 2024 to indulge your taste buds to contemporary Latin American cuisine. What was in it for us? An opportunity to design custom serveware! Needless to say, we were stoked!
The serveware for Otra, inspired by the visual and form culture of South American pottery, is made using different materials like stoneware, wood, glass and stone, all timeless and sturdy. We made voluptuous forms easy to stack, easy to hold and also dishwasher-safe. The serveware, made in stoneware consists of a total of 13 objects, which includes plates and bowls of different sizes along with a guacamole bowl in black marble and the chip bowls in natural teak.
We have some functional tabletop accessories, like a votive holder and bill holder with a ‘tomato-on-top’ weight
